Should not be used in combination with other alpha adrenergic antagonists ( 5.4 , 7.2 )
Other alpha adrenergic antagonists: UROXATRAL is an alpha adrenergic antagonist and should not be used in combination with other alpha adrenergic antagonist [see Drug Interactions (7.2) ].
However, interactions may be expected, and UROXATRAL should not be used in combination with other alpha adrenergic antagonists [see Warnings and Precautions (5.4) ].
As with other alpha adrenergic antagonists, there is a potential for syncope.
Priapism Rarely (probably less than 1 in 50,000), alfuzosin, like other alpha adrenergic antagonists, has been associated with priapism (persistent painful penile erection unrelated to sexual activity).

Do not use JALYN with other alpha-adrenergic antagonists, as this may increase the risk of hypotension.
Other Alpha-adrenergic Antagonists Tamsulosin-containing products, including JALYN, should not be coadministered with other alpha-adrenergic antagonists because of the increased risk of symptomatic hypotension.
Orthostatic Hypotension As with other alpha-adrenergic antagonists, orthostatic hypotension (postural hypotension, dizziness, and vertigo) may occur in patients treated with tamsulosin-containing products, including JALYN, and can result in syncope.
