Interaction Checker is a product name of, and is operated by, Elowin Labs LLC. By using this website you agree to these terms. References to "Interaction Checker", "we", or "us" mean Elowin Labs LLC doing business as Interaction Checker.
1. Not medical advice
Interaction Checker is an informational tool. It summarizes and quotes publicly available text from FDA prescribing labels and NIH fact sheets using an automated method described on the about page. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing on this site creates a clinician-patient relationship. Severity grades reflect the wording of a label, not an assessment of your situation. Never start, stop, or change a medicine because of something you read here without talking to a pharmacist or prescriber. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
2. Accuracy and completeness
Labels change, our method is automated, and no interaction database is complete. We make no promise that any result is accurate, current, or complete, and the absence of a documented interaction is not a statement that a combination is safe. The label used for each drug, and its effective date, are shown so you can check the source yourself.
3. Permitted use
You may use the site for personal reference. Search engines, AI assistants, and research tools are welcome to crawl, index, quote, and cite it with a link back; the machine-readable files described in /llms.txt exist for that purpose. You may not mirror or resell the site as a whole, interfere with its operation, or present its output as a clinical decision-support product. Quoted label text is a work of the U.S. government and remains in the public domain; our arrangement, grading, and prose are ours, and short quotation with attribution is always fine.
4. No accounts, no fees
The site is free and requires no account. We may change or discontinue any part of it at any time.
5. Third-party services
Links to DailyMed, openFDA, NIH, and other sites lead to services we do not control. The optional live lookup sends your query to the FDA's openFDA service under its own terms.

7. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELOWIN LABS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR HEALTH OUTCOME, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SITE. BECAUSE THE SITE IS FREE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.
8. Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We collect no personal information from anyone.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the last material change. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the place where you live that cannot be waived by contract.
