Ce que disent les notices FDA
D'après la notice Aténolol et chlortalidone (ATENOLOL AND CHLORTHALIDONE) · version du 2025-09-22
Because of its relative beta 1 -selectivity, however, atenolol and chlorthalidone may be used with caution in patients with bronchospastic disease who do not respond to or cannot tolerate, other antihypertensive treatment.
Drug Interactions Atenolol and chlorthalidone may potentiate the action of other antihypertensive agents used concomitantly.
Other Precautions In patients receiving thiazides, sensitivity reactions may occur with or without a history of allergy or bronchial asthma.
D'après la notice Bénazépril et hydrochlorothiazide (Lotensin HCT) · version du 2026-02-24
The thiazide component of Lotensin HCT may potentiate the action of other antihypertensive drugs, especially ganglionic or peripheral adrenergic-blocking drugs.
Other ACE inhibitors have had less than additive effects with beta-adrenergic blockers, presumably because drugs of both classes lower blood pressure by inhibiting parts of the renin-angiotensin system.
Lotensin HCT should be used cautiously in patients receiving concomitant therapy with other antihypertensives.
Most epidemiologic studies examining fetal abnormalities after exposure to antihypertensive use in the first trimester have not distinguished drugs affecting the renin-angiotensin system from other antihypertensive agents.
Thiazides can cross the placenta, and concentrations reached in the umbilical vein approach those in the maternal plasma Hydrochlorothiazide, like other diuretics, can cause placental hypoperfusion.
