When amlodipine, 5 mg or 10 mg, and sildenafil 100 mg were orally administered concomitantly to hypertensive patients, mean additional blood pressure reductions of 8 mmHg systolic and 7 mmHg diastolic were noted [see Drug Interactions ( 7.3 ) and Clinical Pharmacology ( 12.2 ) ].
Amlodipine When sildenafil 100 mg was co-administered with amlodipine (5 mg or 10 mg) to hypertensive patients, the mean additional reduction on supine blood pressure was 8 mmHg systolic and 7 mmHg diastolic [see Warnings and Precautions ( 5.5 ), Clinical Pharmacology ( 12.2 ) ].
Caution is advised when SILDENAFIL ORAL FILM is co-administered with alpha-blockers or antihypertensives.
Hypotension when Co-administered with Alpha-blockers or Antihypertensives Alpha-blockers Caution is advised when PDE5 inhibitors are co-administered with alpha-blockers.
DRUG INTERACTIONS SILDENAFIL ORAL FILM can potentiate the hypotensive effects of nitrates, alpha blockers, and antihypertensives.
