Use of REYATAZ without ritonavir is not recommended when coadministered with drugs highly dependent on CYP2C8 with narrow therapeutic indices (eg, paclitaxel, repaglinide).
Some patients required either initiation or dose adjustments of insulin or oral hypoglycemic agents for treatment of these events.

CYP2C8 and CYP3A4 Inhibitors Intervention: Repaglinide tablets dose reductions and increased frequency of glucose monitoring may be required when co‑administered.

Examples: Drugs that are known to inhibit CYP3A4 include antifungal agents (ketoconazole, itraconazole) and antibacterial agents (clarithromycin, erythromycin).
