Prolonged Erection Prolonged erection greater than 4 hours and priapism (painful erections greater than 6 hours in duration) have been reported with other PDE5 inhibitors.

As with other PDE5 inhibitors avanafil has systemic vasodilatory properties and may augment the blood pressure-lowering effect of other anti-hypertensive medications.
