Alcohol, barbiturates or narcotics: Concomitant administration of thiazide diuretics with alcohol, barbiturates, or narcotics may potentiate orthostatic hypotension.
From the Butorphanol (Butorphanol Tartrate) label · effective 2026-01-02
In such cases, butorphanol should be discontinued and the hypertension treated with antihypertensive drugs.
