About 13 percent of the cases of neutropenia have ended fatally, but almost all fatalities were in patients with serious illness, having collagen vascular disease, renal failure, heart failure or immunosuppressant therapy, or a combination of these complicating factors.

Patients receiving coadministration of ACE inhibitor and mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) inhibitor (e.g., temsirolimus, sirolimus, everolimus) therapy or a neprilysin inhibitor may be at increased risk for angioedema (see PRECAUTIONS, Drug Interactions ).

The concomitant use of sirolimus with other drugs known to cause angioedema, such as angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, may increase the risk of developing angioedema.
Elevated sirolimus levels (with/without concomitant ACE inhibitors) may also potentiate angioedema [ see Drug Interactions (7.2) ].
