Avoid concurrent use of Carbinoxamine Maleate Extended-Release Oral Suspension with alcohol or other central nervous system depressants because additional impairment of central nervous system performance may occur.
Avoid use of Carbinoxamine Maleate extended-release oral suspension with alcohol and other CNS depressants (hypnotics sedatives, tranquilizers, etc.) due to additive effects.
(4 and 7) Alcohol and CNS depressants (hypnotics sedatives, tranquilizers, etc.): Avoid concomitant use due to additive adverse effects.

Other important considerations in the differential diagnosis include central anticholinergic toxicity, heat stroke, drug fever and primary central nervous system (CNS) pathology.
As with all drugs which exert an anticholinergic effect, and/or cause mydriasis, trifluoperazine should be used with caution in patients with glaucoma.
