Increased Risk of Bleeding: Concomitant use of aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, other antiplatelet drugs, warfarin, and other anticoagulants may increase this risk.
Concomitant use of aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), antiplatelet drugs, warfarin, and other anticoagulants may add to this risk.
Inform patients about the increased risk of bleeding associated with the concomitant use of Citalopram Capsules and antiplatelet agents or anticoagulants.
Drugs That Interfere With Hemostasis (antiplatelet agents and anticoagulants) Clinical Impact: Concomitant use of citalopram and an antiplatelet or anticoagulant may potentiate the risk of bleeding.
Intervention: Inform patients of the increased risk of bleeding associated with the concomitant use of Citalopram Capsules and antiplatelet agents and anticoagulants.
