QT Prolongation : Avoid clarithromycin tablets in patients with known QT prolongation or receiving drugs known to prolong the QT interval, ventricular arrhythmia ( torsades de pointes ), hypokalemia/hypomagnesemia, significant bradycardia, or taking Class IA or III antiarrhythmics ( 5.2 )
