An increased risk cannot be excluded for CLOZARIL or other antipsychotics or other patient populations.
From the Risperidone (RISPERDAL CONSTA) label · effective 2025-11-05
Clozapine may decrease clearance of risperidone.
Clozapine Chronic administration of clozapine with risperidone may decrease the clearance of risperidone.
RISPERDAL CONSTA and other antipsychotic drugs should be used cautiously in patients at risk for aspiration pneumonia. [see also Boxed Warning and Warnings and Precautions (5.1) ] 5.13 Priapism Priapism has been reported during postmarketing surveillance [see Adverse Reactions (6.2) ] .
Risperidone is associated with higher levels of prolactin elevation than other antipsychotic agents.
