Patients with impaired renal function (eGFR less than 60 mL/min/1.73 m 2 ), elderly patients, or patients on loop diuretics may be at increased risk for volume depletion or hypotension.
• Volume depletion: Before initiating DAPAGLIFLOZIN TABLETS, assess volume status and renal function in the elderly, patients with renal impairment or low systolic blood pressure, and in patients on diuretics.

Dyrenium (triamterene) may raise blood glucose levels; for adult-onset diabetes, dosage adjustments of hypoglycemic agents may be necessary during and/or after therapy; concurrent use with chlorpropamide may increase the risk of severe hyponatremia.
