Daridorexant and Temazepam: both prescribing labels describe an interaction that usually calls for monitoring, a dose change, or spacing the doses.

CNS-Depressant Effects and Daytime Impairment: Impairs alertness and motor coordination including morning impairment.
Risk increases when used with other central nervous system (CNS) depressants.
Co-administration with other CNS depressants (e.g., benzodiazepines, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants, alcohol) increases the risk of CNS depression, which can cause daytime impairment.
Dosage adjustments of QUVIVIQ and of concomitant CNS depressants may be necessary when administered together because of potentially additive effects.
As with other hypnotics, QUVIVIQ should be administered with caution in patients exhibiting symptoms of depression.

Although behaviors such as “sleep-driving” may occur with temazepam capsules alone at therapeutic doses, the use of alcohol and other CNS depressants with temazepam capsules appear to increase the risk of such behaviors, as does the use of temazepam capsules at doses exceeding the maximum recommended dose.
This behavior is more likely to occur when temazepam capsules are taken with alcohol or other central nervous system depressants ( see WARNINGS ).
