( 7.1 ) • Concomitant therapies such as erythropoietin stimulating agents or estrogen containing therapies may have an increased risk of thromboembolism.
Estrogens, Including Oral Contraceptives Estrogens may decrease the hepatic metabolism of certain corticosteroids and increase exposures, which may increase the risk of adverse reactions [see Warnings and Precautions ( 5 ) and Adverse Reactions ( 6 )] .
Concomitant Therapies that May Increase the Risk of Thromboembolism Erythropoietic agents, or other agents that may increase the risk of thromboembolism, such as estrogen containing therapies, coadministered with HEMADY may increase the risk of thromboembolism.

Enzyme inducers (e.g., CYP3A4) : May decrease the effectiveness of TYBLUME or increase breakthrough bleeding.
Metabolic Enzyme Inducers Clinical effect Concomitant use of CHCs with metabolic enzyme inducers may decrease the plasma concentrations of the estrogen and/or progestin component of CHCs [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ] .
Thyroid Hormone Replacement Therapy or Corticosteroid Replacement Therapy Clinical effect Concomitant use of CHCs with thyroid hormone replacement therapy or corticosteroid replacement therapy may increase systemic exposure of thyroid-binding and cortisol-binding globulin [see Warnings and Precautions (5.11) ].
Counsel patients to use a back-up or alternative method of contraception when enzyme inducers are used with TYBLUME.
Prevention or management Counsel females to use an alternative method of contraception or a backup method when enzyme inducers are used with CHCs.
