Patients who have previously experienced a hypersensitivity reaction to paclitaxel may develop a hypersensitivity reaction to docetaxel that may include severe or fatal reactions such as anaphylaxis.
Monitor patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to paclitaxel closely during initiation of docetaxel therapy.
