Enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide and Hydrocodone and ibuprofen interaction

Enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide and Hydrocodone and ibuprofen: both prescribing labels describe an interaction that usually calls for monitoring, a dose change, or spacing the doses.

Moderate

Patients at greatest risk of this reaction are those with impaired renal function, dehydration, hypovolemia, heart failure, liver dysfunction, those taking diuretics and ACE inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), and the elderly.

During concomitant use of hydrocodone bitartrate and ibuprofen tablets and ACE-inhibitors, ARBs, or beta-blockers, monitor blood pressure to ensure that the desired blood pressure is obtained.
