Barbiturates, phenytoin, or rifampin —increased metabolic clearance of fludrocortisone acetate because of the induction of hepatic enzymes.
From the Methohexital (Brevital Sodium) label · effective 2026-05-05
Intra-arterial glucocorticoid injection at the site of injury, followed by systemic steroids.
Barbiturates may influence the metabolism of other concomitantly used drugs, such as phenytoin, halothane, anticoagulants, corticosteroids, ethyl alcohol, and propylene glycol-containing solutions.
