Coadministration with lomitapide is contraindicated due to potential for markedly increased transaminases.
Lipid Modifying Agents: HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors : Atorvastatin a Lovastatin, simvastatin Other lipid modifying agents : Lomitapide ↑Atorvastatin ↑Lovastatin ↑Simvastatin ↑Lomitapide Titrate atorvastatin dose carefully and use the lowest necessary dose; do not exceed atorvastatin 20 mg/day.

Concomitant administration of JUXTAPID with moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, as this can increase JUXTAPID exposure [see Warnings and Precautions (5.6) , Drug Interactions (7.1) , and Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ].
Concomitant use with strong or moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors ( 4 ).
Concomitant use of moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors with JUXTAPID is contraindicated [see Drug Interactions (7.1) ].
If treatment with moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors is unavoidable, JUXTAPID should be stopped during the course of treatment.
Strong and moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors are contraindicated with JUXTAPID.
