Potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone, amiloride, triamterene, and others) or potassium supplements can increase the risk of hyperkalemia.
Hyperkalemia Patients should be told not to use potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium without consulting the physician.
Potassium supplements and potassium-sparing diuretics Fosinopril sodium can attenuate potassium loss caused by thiazide diuretics.

Renin-angiotensin-aldosterone Inhibitors Drugs that inhibit the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) including angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), spironolactone, eplerenone, or aliskiren produce potassium retention by inhibiting aldosterone production.
