Avoid coadministration of FANAPT with alpha-adrenergic blocking agents and adjust medications that affect blood pressure as needed [see Warnings and Precautions (5.7) ] .
There does not appear to be a benefit of stopping alpha1 blocker therapy prior to cataract surgery.
