• Hepatic decompensation, some fatal, has occurred in HIV‑1/HCV co‑infected patients receiving combination antiretroviral therapy and interferon alfa with/without ribavirin.
Coadministration of ribavirin and zidovudine is not advised.
Coadministration of ribavirin and COMBIVIR is not advised.
