LATUDA and other antipsychotic drugs should be used cautiously in patients at risk for aspiration pneumonia.
Seizures As with other antipsychotic drugs, LATUDA should be used cautiously in patients with a history of seizures or with conditions that lower the seizure threshold, e.g., Alzheimer's dementia.
Potential for Cognitive and Motor Impairment LATUDA, like other antipsychotics, has the potential to impair judgment, thinking or motor skills.

Long-Term Therapy To lessen the likelihood of adverse reactions related to cumulative drug effect, patients with a history of long-term therapy with trifluoperazine hydrochloride and/or other antipsychotics should be evaluated periodically to decide whether the maintenance dosage could be lowered or drug therapy discontinued.
