Most patients who developed these infections were taking concomitant immunosuppressants such as methotrexate or corticosteroids.
Some patients have presented with disseminated rather than localized disease, and were often taking concomitant immunomodulating agents such as methotrexate or corticosteroids.
Most of these abnormalities occurred in studies with background DMARD therapy (primarily methotrexate).
