Upper Gastrointestinal Adverse Reactions Risedronate sodium delayed-release, like other bisphosphonates administered orally, may cause local irritation of the upper gastrointestinal mucosa.
A subset had recurrence of symptoms when rechallenged with the same drug or another bisphosphonate.
