CNS depressants: Closely monitor for sedation and respiratory depression.
CNS Depressants Closely monitor for signs of sedation and respiratory depression with concomitant use of SEZABY with other CNS depressants, including opioids [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)] .
From the Thiothixene label · effective 2025-02-25
As in the case of other CNS-acting drugs, patients receiving thiothixene should be cautioned about the possible additive effects (which may include hypotension) with CNS depressants and with alcohol.
DRUG INTERACTIONS Hepatic microsomal enzyme inducing agents, such as carbamazepine, were found to significantly increase the clearance of thiothixene.
