Concomitant use of pimozide in patients taking sertraline is contraindicated (See PRECAUTIONS – DRUG INTERACTIONS ).
Concomitant administration of pimozide and sertraline should be contraindicated (See CONTRAINDICATIONS ).
DRUG INTERACTIONS Because pimozide prolongs the QT interval of the electrocardiogram, an additive effect on QT interval would be anticipated if administered with other drugs, such as phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants or antiarrhythmic agents, which prolong the QT interval.

Taking pimozide [see Drug Interactions ( 7.1 )] .
Intervention: Concomitant use of pimozide and sertraline hydrochloride capsules is contraindicated [see Contraindications ( 4 )] .
Intervention: Pimozide is contraindicated for use with sertraline hydrochloride capsules.
Avoid the concomitant use of drugs known to prolong the QTc interval.
