Piperacillin-Tazobactam Studies have detected an increased incidence of acute kidney injury in patients administered concomitant piperacillin/tazobactam and vancomycin as compared to vancomycin alone.
Monitor kidney function in patients receiving concomitant piperacillin/tazobactam and Vancomycin Injection.
No pharmacokinetic interactions have been noted between piperacillin/tazobactam and vancomycin.

Combined use of piperacillin and tazobactam and vancomycin may be associated with an increased incidence of acute kidney injury [see Drug Interactions (7.3) ].
