Atorvastatin und Verapamil: Beide FDA-Fachinformationen beschreiben eine Wechselwirkung, die in der Regel eine Überwachung, eine Dosisanpassung oder einen zeitlichen Abstand zwischen den Einnahmen erfordert.

Was die FDA-Fachinformationen sagen
Aus der FDA-Fachinformation zu Atorvastatin (Lipitor) · Stand 2024-04-15
LIPITOR plasma levels can be significantly increased with concomitant administration of inhibitors of CYP3A4 and transporters.
Table 2: Drug Interactions that may Increase the Risk of Myopathy and Rhabdomyolysis with LIPITOR Cyclosporine or Gemfibrozil Clinical Impact: Atorvastatin plasma levels were significantly increased with concomitant administration of LIPITOR and cyclosporine, an inhibitor of CYP3A4 and OATP1B1 [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ] .
Anti-Viral Medications Clinical Impact: Atorvastatin plasma levels were significantly increased with concomitant administration of LIPITOR with many anti-viral medications, which are inhibitors of CYP3A4 and/or transporters (e.g., BCRP, OATP1B1/1B3, P-gp, MRP2, and/or OAT2) [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ] .
Aus der FDA-Fachinformation zu Verapamil (Verapamil Hydrochloride) · Stand 2025-03-25
Lower starting and maintenance doses of other CYP3A4 substrates (e.g., atorvastatin) may be required as verapamil may increase the plasma concentration of these drugs.
HMG-CoA Reductase Inhibitors The use of HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors that are CYP3A4 substrates in combination with verapamil has been associated with reports of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis.
