Was die FDA-Fachinformationen sagen
Aus der FDA-Fachinformation zu Ocrelizumab (OCREVUS) · Stand 2026-05-14
When switching from drugs with prolonged immune effects, such as daclizumab, fingolimod, natalizumab, teriflunomide, or mitoxantrone, consider the duration and mode of action of these drugs because of additive immunosuppressive effects when initiating OCREVUS [see Warnings and Precautions (5.2) ].
In pediatric patients, the incidence of infusion reactions in patients treated with OCREVUS was 48%, compared with an incidence of 24% in patients who received placebo infusion (fingolimod-treated patients).
In the pediatric study, infections occurred in 73% of patients treated with OCREVUS (1.5 infections per patient-year) and 59% of patients treated with fingolimod (1.2 infections per patient-year) [see Adverse Reactions (6.1) ] .
Upper respiratory tract infections, nasopharyngitis, and influenza, all of which were mild to moderate, were more frequently reported in patients treated with OCREVUS compared to patients treated with fingolimod.
