Was die FDA-Fachinformationen sagen
Aus der FDA-Fachinformation zu Lurasidon (Latuda) · Stand 2025-01-31
LATUDA and other antipsychotic drugs should be used cautiously in patients at risk for aspiration pneumonia.
Seizures As with other antipsychotic drugs, LATUDA should be used cautiously in patients with a history of seizures or with conditions that lower the seizure threshold, e.g., Alzheimer's dementia.
Potential for Cognitive and Motor Impairment LATUDA, like other antipsychotics, has the potential to impair judgment, thinking or motor skills.
Appropriate care is advised when prescribing LATUDA for patients who will be experiencing conditions that may contribute to an elevation in core body temperature, e.g., exercising strenuously, exposure to extreme heat, receiving concomitant medication with anticholinergic activity, or being subject to dehydration.
Aus der FDA-Fachinformation zu Prochlorperazin (PROCHLORPERAZINE MALEATE) · Stand 2025-07-09
To lessen the likelihood of adverse reactions related to cumulative drug effect, patients with a history of long-term therapy with prochlorperazine and/or other antipsychotics should be evaluated periodically to decide whether the maintenance dosage could be lowered, or drug therapy discontinued.
