De la etiqueta de Quinapril e hidroclorotiazida (Quinapril and Hydrochlorothiazide) · vigente desde 2023-12-11
Do not co-administer quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide tablets with aliskiren: in patients with diabetes.
The thiazide component of quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide tablets may potentiate the action of other antihypertensive drugs, especially ganglionic or peripheral adrenergic- blocking drugs.
Quinapril and hydrochlorothiazide tablets should be used cautiously in patients receiving concomitant therapy with other antihypertensives.
Most epidemiologic studies examining fetal abnormalities after exposure to antihypertensive use in the first trimester have not distinguished drugs affecting the renin-angiotensin system from other antihypertensive agents.
