शराब को नींद लाने वाली दवाओं (ओपिओइड, बेंज़ोडायज़ेपिन, नींद की दवाएं, मसल रिलैक्सेंट) के साथ लेने से खतरनाक स्तर का उनींदापन, धीमी सांस और ओवरडोज़ हो सकता है।

Risk increases with dose and use with other CNS depressants and alcohol.

Post-marketing reports have shown that complex sleep behaviors may occur with LUNESTA alone at recommended dosages, with or without the concomitant use of alcohol or other CNS depressants [see Drug Interactions ( 7.1 )] .

Additive effects occur with concomitant use of other CNS depressants (e.g., benzodiazepines, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants, alcohol), including daytime use.

Some of these changes may be characterized by decreased inhibition (e.g., aggressiveness and extroversion that seem out of character), similar to effects produced by alcohol and other CNS depressants.

Use with ethanol causes additive psychomotor impairment ( 7.1 )
