Risk of Hypertension and Bradycardia Due to Drug Interactions Between FLAVALTA and Nonselective Beta-Adrenergic Antagonists Administration of FLAVALTA (containing a vasoconstrictor, epinephrine) in patients receiving nonselective beta-adrenergic antagonists may cause severe hypertension and bradycardia.

Nonselective Beta-Adrenergic Antagonists Administration of FLAVALTA solution (containing a vasoconstrictor, epinephrine), in patients receiving a nonselective beta-adrenergic antagonist may result in dose-dependent hypertension and bradycardia with possible heart block.

Nonselective Beta-Adrenergic Antagonists: Administration of FLAVALTA (containing a vasoconstrictor, epinephrine), in patients receiving nonselective beta-adrenergic antagonist may cause severe hypertension and bradycardia.

Risk of Anaphylactic Reaction Although it is known that patients on beta-blockers may be refractory to epinephrine in the treatment of anaphylactic shock, beta-blockers can, in addition, interfere with the modulation of allergic reaction and lead to an increased severity and/or frequency of attacks.

Such patients may be unresponsive to the usual doses of epinephrine used to treat allergic reaction.
