What the FDA labels say
From the Amphetamine (Dyanavel XR) label · effective 2026-02-24
Serotonin Syndrome: Increased risk when co-administered with serotonergic agents (e.g., SSRIs, SNRIs, triptans), but also during overdosage situations.
Discontinue treatment with DYANAVEL XR and any concomitant serotonergic agents immediately if symptoms of serotonin syndrome occur, and initiate supportive symptomatic treatment.
Serotonergic Drugs Clinical Impact The concomitant use of DYANAVEL XR and serotonergic drugs increases the risk of serotonin syndrome.
If serotonin syndrome occurs, discontinue DYANAVEL XR and the concomitant serotonergic drug(s) [ see Warnings and Precautions ( 5.7 ) ] .
In these situations, consider an alternative non-serotonergic drug or an alternative drug that does not inhibit CYP2D6 [ see Drug Interactions (7.1) ] .
From the Nortriptyline (PAMELOR) label · effective 2024-12-04
Close supervision and careful adjustment of the dosage are required when Pamelor is used with other anticholinergic drugs and sympathomimetic drugs.
