Serious Gastrointestinal Reactions Serious gastrointestinal reactions, including perforation, ulceration, hemorrhage, and obstruction, some with fatal outcomes, have been reported in the postmarketing setting with the use of fumaric acid esters, including TECFIDERA, with or without concomitant aspirin use.
