Temsirolimus The use of concomitant strong CYP3A4 inducers such as carbamazepine should be avoided with temsirolimus.
If patients must be coadministered carbamazepine with temsirolimus, an adjustment of temsirolimus dosage should be considered.

Co-administration with Inducers or Inhibitors of CYP3A Metabolism Agents Inducing CYP3A Metabolism: Strong inducers of CYP3A4/5 such as dexamethasone, carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, rifampin, rifabutin, and rifampacin may decrease exposure of the active metabolite, sirolimus.
Strong inducers of CYP3A4/5 and inhibitors of CYP3A4 may affect concentrations of the primary metabolite of TORISEL.
