Thyroid Supplement Thyroid Treatment of hypothyroidism in patients taking digoxin may increase the dose requirements of digoxin.
Digoxin responses are normal in patients with compensated thyroid disease.

Digitalis Glycosides Liothyronine sodium may reduce the therapeutic effects of digitalis glycosides.
Serum digitalis glycoside levels may be decreased when a hypothyroid patient becomes euthyroid, necessitating an increase in the dose of digitalis glycosides.
