El metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol-XL, Kapspargo) es un betabloqueante que enlentece el corazón y baja la presión arterial. Está aprobado para la presión arterial alta, la angina y, según la forma, el infarto de miocardio o la insuficiencia cardíaca.
