Piperacillin and Tazobactam for Injection and Sodium Chloride Injection is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergic reactions to any of the penicillins, cephalosporins, or betalactamase inhibitors.

Hematologic Adverse Reactions Bleeding manifestations have occurred in some patients receiving beta-lactam drugs, including piperacillin.

There have been reports of individuals with a history of penicillin hypersensitivity who have experienced severe reactions when treated with cephalosporins.

Before initiating therapy with Cefoxitin for Injection and Dextrose Injection, inquire about previous hypersensitivity reactions to penicillins, cephalosporins, or other allergens.
