Hypertensive crises have resulted when sympathomimetic amines have been used concomitantly or within 14 days following use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
From the Rasagiline label · effective 2020-06-30
Hypertensive crisis has been reported in patients taking the recommended dose of rasagiline and sympathomimetic medications.
Severe hypertension has been reported in patients taking the recommended dose of rasagiline and ophthalmic drops containing sympathomimetic medications.
Nevertheless, caution should be exercised when concomitantly using recommended doses of rasagiline with any sympathomimetic medications including nasal, oral, and ophthalmic decongestants and cold remedies.
