Psychotic Reactions with Disulfiram LIKMEZ is contraindicated in patients who have used disulfiram within the last two weeks.

Use of oral metronidazole is associated with psychotic reactions in alcoholic patients who were using disulfiram concurrently [ see Drug Interactions (7.1) ] .

Use of oral metronidazole is associated with a disulfiram-like reaction to alcohol, including abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, headaches, and flushing [ see Drug Interactions (7.2) ] .

LIKMEZ is contraindicated in patients who have taken disulfiram within the last two weeks [ see Contraindications (4.2) ] .

CONTRAINDICATIONS Patients who are receiving or have recently received metronidazole, paraldehyde, alcohol, or alcohol-containing preparations, e.g., cough syrups, tonics and the like, should not be given disulfiram.
