L'escitalopram est un antidépresseur de la classe des ISRS, vendu sous le nom Lexapro et largement disponible en générique. C'est la forme active isolée d'un médicament plus ancien, le citalopram, et il augmente la quantité de sérotonine disponible dans le cerveau.
