Datos, mitos y afirmaciones en internetEl escitalopram es un antidepresivo ISRS que se vende como Lexapro y ampliamente como genérico. Es la forma única activa del fármaco más antiguo citalopram y aumenta la cantidad de serotonina disponible en el cerebro. Está aprobado para la depresión mayor en personas de 12 años o más y para el trastorno de ansiedad generalizada en personas de 7 años o más.
