O zolpidem (Ambien, Ambien CR, Edluar, Zolpimist, Intermezzo) é um sedativo-hipnótico prescrito para o tratamento de curto prazo da insônia, principalmente da dificuldade para adormecer. É uma substância controlada. É tomado uma vez por noite, logo antes de deitar, de estômago vazio, somente quando restam 7 a 8 horas antes de se levantar.
